About Signature Dance Company
Signature Dance Company (SDC) is a performance dance company for women and girls ages 3 years old through adults in Milwaukee, WI. Our mission is sharing, without compromise, all our God gifts and talents while helping others realize their own. Through combining the technique and ministry of dance, we create environments that change the lives and hearts of audience members and dancers. Our hope is that as each dancer grows technically, that they would also grow personally, emotionally and spiritually through mentorship and accountability. Every girl should be a Signature Girl!
Co-Founder and Board Chaplain
Tecia Sellers is a wife, mom, entrepreneur and woman of faith. Although she never imagined that God would afford her the opportunity to lead such a dynamic group of young women, with her parents' help she began both her walk with the Lord and artistic training at a young age. Some of the companies and organizations Tecia has trained and/or participated in are Ko-Thi, Unity in The Community, Outreach Temple For Jesus, Evangel Cathedral, Howard University Alpha Omega Steppers For Christ, Christian Faith Fellowship Church and World Outreach and Bible Training.
In addition to honing in on her artistic and ministerial abilities, Tecia has also been diligent in her leadership training and educational pursuits. Professionally, she has worked in leadership capacities in various community organizations and she has earned her Bachelor's of Science in Human Services Management. Tecia is humbled at the fact that God chose her, along with the other two co-founders, to start Signature Dance Company. Part of the mission of Signature is to help others realize their own God-given gifts and talents. It brings Tecia great joy and a sense of fulfillment to see anyone connected to Signature realize and develop the call of God on their lives.
Tecia's order in life is God first, the family (husband Dale and daughter Casey), and then Signature

Team Signature Girl
"Signature Dance Company operates with a vibrant leadership team, Team Signature Girl, that consists of women who teach, volunteer, manage programs and/or perform with the Senior Company! Some grew up in the company as dancers and have come back to serve, while others were attracted to Signature through it's community programs and performances. Either way, the women on this team volunteer lots of their time and efforts into helping each Signature Girl realize their gifts and talents."
